Psalm 49:8

SV	Niemand van hen zal [zijn] broeder immermeer kunnen verlossen; hij zal Gode zijn rantsoen niet kunnen geven;
WLC	אָ֗ח לֹא־פָדֹ֣ה יִפְדֶּ֣ה אִ֑ישׁ לֹא־יִתֵּ֖ן לֵאלֹהִ֣ים כָּפְרֹֽו׃
Trans.	’āḥ lō’-fāḏōh yifədeh ’îš lō’-yitēn lē’lōhîm kāfərwō:

AC	ח אח--לא פדה יפדה איש לא-יתן לאלהים כפרו
ASV	(For the redemption of their life is costly, And it faileth for ever;)
BE	(Because it takes a great price to keep his soul from death, and man is not able to give it.)
Darby	(For the redemption of their soul is costly, and must be given up for ever,)
ELB05	(Denn kostbar ist die Erlösung ihrer Seele, und er muß davon abstehen auf ewig)
LSG	Le rachat de leur âme est cher, Et n'aura jamais lieu;
Sch	(H49-9) Zu teuer ist die Erlösung ihrer Seelen, so daß er auf ewig davon abstehen muß!
